IDPD Resource Fair

Voice of Albertans with Disabilities (VAD) is pleased to invite your organization to participate as an exhibitor at the 2026 International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) Community Resource Fair on Thursday, December 3, 2026.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities is recognized around the world each year on December 3. It promotes awareness of disability issues, encourages the full inclusion and participation of persons with disabilities, and highlights the importance of building accessible and inclusive communities.

At VAD, our work focuses on full participation, equity, accessibility and inclusion for Albertans with disabilities. To celebrate IDPD 2026, we are bringing community organizations, service providers, businesses and members of the public together for a Community Resource Fair.

Date: Thursday, December 3, 2026
Location: Mill Woods Town Centre, Edmonton
Exhibitor Setup: 11:00 AM
Open to the Public: 11:30 AM–3:00 PM
Exhibitor Tear down: 3:00 PM

Exhibitor Registration
Early Registration – $75 per table, Register on or before November 15, 2026
Regular Registration – $100 per table, Registrations received after November 15
Final Registration Deadline: November 28, 2026. Space is limited, and organizations are encouraged to register early.

Admission to the Resource Fair is FREE for the public. We ask participating exhibitors to help promote the event to their clients, members, families, patrons and community networks. We encourage you to forward this invitation to organizations within your network. The more services represented, the more valuable this event becomes for people navigating disability and community support systems.
